Take a look at my new car(d)!

I don't want to come across as some kind of advertisement, but the Visa Mini has a somewhat unexpected side-effect. Every time I have used it, female checkout assistants have gone gaga over it. I believe the correct term for such an item is "chick magnet."
Ooh, it's so small!

I want one!

Wow, check out this credit card!

I've been waiting for months for someone to use one of these!
And lately,
You must get this all the time.
Ah well. To be brutally honest, I got it because it was a cheap Visa credit card. Oh, and I haven't been on any dinners lately. I miss home cooking too much.

The Haircut

Kinda old news now, but I might as well make note of it.

We had a bit of a youth camp at our farm over the ANZAC day long weekend. I was going to go a bit late so I could get one of those famous Springvale haircuts before I set out. "No," Li Wu says, "I've got a haircutting set. I'll cut your hair for you!"

Good-o. So I go early to the farm. About lunchtime, I declare, "I'm going to have a haircut." A bunch of friends come out to cut the mop, one who is an aspiring hairdresser. "But I've only done shampooing!" Never mind, the experience won't hurt.

Eventually, five people take turns/fight over my hair. A crowd of about twelve end up mobbing my chair in the middle of the field. My pastor tells me I've helped him fulfil his lifelong dream to cut hair. A visiting pastor comes along with a chainsaw. Everyone chimes in with their opinions on cutting angles and fringelines.

Guys say my haircut is pretty good. Girls say that it's a bit wonky, but that it's only a thing that girls would notice.

Not a bad experience.
