How to... (ii)

...survive on only 3MB of Internet a day.

Vodafone offers 100MB of data for $30 a month. Not much choice when you're in the country without a fixed phone line.

That works out to approximately 3MB a day.

First, turn off all images.
Second, install the NoScript Firefox plugin, which will stop stupid Javascripts from loading spurious special effects on pages you just want to get information out of.

Third, just give up. 3MB isn't enough for anybody*.

Emos

From the abc.net.au Website, 3/10/2006, 14:13 GMT+1000,

"Emos wouldn't be so annoying if they realised that they're not an anti-establishment subculture, but the product of clever teen demographic marketing."

Mmm, message boards are fun.

(I've nothing against emos. I thought it was a joke. I don't think I've seen a real live one yet.)
