Dubbonomy II

Ray White Real Estate in Dubbo has this on their website:

The meaning of 'Dubbo' is unclear but is thought to be Aboriginal for either
'red earth', 'foggy', 'head covering' or 'possum fur head covering'.

From an independent outsider's point of view, I can verify that Dubbo does indeed have a lot of red earth (that turns to mud that sticks to your shoes after the rain).

It is also very foggy. (1-3ÂșC mornings aren't much fun. After about half an hour of working, your fingers seize up, and your face goes numb.)

Is Dubbo like a possum fur head covering? That would be stretching it a little. (Is fur back in again?)
